Dr. Rand Russell

Dr. Rand Russell completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. He was awarded the U.S. Army’s Health Professions Scholarship and received his dental degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2003. Following graduation Dr. Russell completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Ft. Lewis, WA and went on to receive his advanced specialty training in endodontics from the U.S. Army Ft. Bragg Residency program in 2008.

Upon completion of his residency training, the Army moved Dr. Russell and his family to Germany where he became chief of endodontics at Grafenwoehr Dental Clinic in the Bavaria Dental Activity. In 2010, Dr. Russell deployed to Afghanistan practicing endodontics for all branches of the military as well as coalition soldiers at Bagram Air Base. In 2011, Dr. Russell resigned his commission from the Army and entered private practice. In-line with providing exceptional care, Dr. Russell and Dr. de Graft-Johnson established Elite Endodontic Specialists. 

Dr. Russell has completed the endodontic board certification process and is recognized as a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.  He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.  Dr. Russell has also been selected by a vote of his peers to be included in the national listing of USA topDentists for 2025.  

On a personal note, Rand is married with four children. He loves spending time with his family, scuba diving, watching college football, reading, snowboarding and hiking.
